BE Extraordinary

A mission is a purpose or goal that an individual or organization strives to achieve. It is a statement that defines the reason for the agents existence and its intended impact on the world. A mission can be broad and long-term, or it can be specific and focused on a particular aspect of the individual's or organization's work.

For example, a personal mission might be to live a fulfilling and meaningful life, or to contribute to the well-being of others in some way. A company's mission might be to provide high-quality products and services to its customers, while a nonprofit organization's mission might be to address a specific social or environmental issue. 

A mission can serve as a guiding principle and provide direction and focus for an individual or organization, helping them to make decisions and take action in line with their goals and values. It can also help to inspire and motivate others to get involved.

The purpose of this Mission is to provide myself with a “North Star”. 

“Be Extraordinary” is my North Star, and my Foundational Values are my Compass. 

A North Star is a singular point that I am always striving towards that provides direction, fuel, and motivation. A Compass is a tool I use for direction in times of uncertainty; a tool that can guide me through the forest until I reach a point of clarity where I can see my North Star and the landscape clearly again.

The intended purpose/end-goal of this Mission is the integration of my body, all thoughts, moods, attitudes, temperaments, personalities, words, actions, resources, and relationships, on all levels, to lead to my higher purpose; “Be Extraordinary”. Like tributaries to one major river, a collection of energy in synergy in one direction. My Mission is a tool to reach this state of total Integrity to this higher purpose.

“Be Extraordinary” as I define it, means to fulfill my potential to the absolute best of my ability. It means to strive for excellence and greatness in everything I do. It is the ultimate expression of gratitude for this Life - as I am sacrificing the energy to celebrate it. It means to honor this Life, to do this Life Justice; to match the profundity of Life with my own efforts by striving for my pinnacle of actualization. 

It means to learn about how I interact with energy and how to do things that create my reality. It means to create the reality I want. It means to carve my own path in life. It means not taking shortcuts - it is actually about taking the difficult road - the road of meaning.

It means to do things that resonate deeply inside my Spirit. To pursue many different skills and combine them in a way that suits me and expresses my uniqueness.

A Personal Mission must provide direction, be inspiring, be achievable, and at the same time not rely on outside factors - it has to be totally within the control of the individual. Alexander Solzhenitsyn, Viktor Frankl, and Nelson Mandela were all Extraordinary while being imprisoned. Being Extraordinary is an internal state that manifests itself externally. 

“Be Extraordinary” also has no ceiling. You can take it to any height you want.

For the reasons above, “Be Extraordinary” is My Mission.

It's a tall order, and no doubt a road with many failures ahead, maybe it's even a pipe dream - but lets see how far I can get.
