"He does not know that this is a statue. He does not know how much it weighs. He only saw that it needs help. Look at the world with the heart of a child, and life will become more beautiful."
Love is a complex mix of emotions, behaviors, and beliefs associated with strong feelings of affection, protectiveness, warmth, and respect. It can also include deep romantic or sexual attraction. Love is a multifaceted concept, and can be experienced in many different ways. It can refer to the feelings that arise between two people who are romantically or sexually attracted to one another, as well as the feelings that arise between family members, friends, things, and experiences.
‘Conditional Love’ is what people normally think of as Love. Conditional Love is ‘love the things that are good’. Love of things that serve the ego's agenda. Love only the things that help you, and hate the things that don't help you. The ego is a creation of a boundary within reality, and saying everything within this boundary is extra special and important. 'That's me! Everything within this boundary is me, and everything outside this boundary is not me, and I don't really care about that stuff, because I only care about me.' Loving everything within that boundary is Conditional Love. What prevents a broader embodiment of Love is the ego's fear of dissolution.
I define Love more universally. To me, Love is the fundamental creative force of The Universe. Love is a divine principle, as nothing would be created without it. Love is space for creation. Love is non-resistance as The Universe is not resisting any part of itself. Love is consciousness of the beauty of creation. Love is surrender of the self, selflessness. Love is the dissolution of all boundaries, non-duality, the realization of the oneness of all things.

An adventure is an exciting or unusual experience. It can involve taking risks or going on a journey, often with an element of the unknown or unpredictability. Adventure is an exploration of all there is to love.

The opposite of love is egotism, arrogance, narcissism, fear, hate, judgment, unconsciousness, violence, intolerance, manipulation, tribalism, exploitation, power games, ignorance, closed-mindedness and division. What is hate and evil? Excessive love of the self, which then results in hate of the other. So hate is a dense, crude, and distorted form of love.
If someone valued love, it would mean that they prioritize and value close, personal relationships and the feelings of affection, warmth, and respect that come with those relationships to people, experiences, or things. Someone who values love might be very focused on maintaining and strengthening their relationships, and might be willing to make sacrifices for the people, experiences, or things they love. They might also be very open and expressive when it comes to their feelings of love, and be willing to show love and affection to others or things in a variety of ways. In general, valuing love would mean making relationships and the feelings of love and connection a priority in one's life.
Love is not something you can purchase, it has to be developed. To really love you have to develop your capacity to love, even the hard stuff. Not just the easy stuff. Loving the hard stuff is what fulfills you. People love sex, they love food, they love people who love them, they love the stuff that helps them, that's the easy stuff. How about loving the hard stuff? That's what really grows you. That's what really fulfills you. That's not a capacity you can buy, you have to work for that. You have to Love your enemy, Love your challenges, Love bad weather, Love criticism, Love suffering, Love looking at yourself in ways you don’t want to.
You cannot Love so long as you're preoccupied with food, sex, survival, status, success, money, addiction, drugs, ideology, politics, religion, or logic. Take personal ownership and responsibility for the creation of Love; actively create Love in your life. The true test of Love is to Love all that which is against you. To develop your Love to unconditional and indiscriminate levels, where you don't make exceptions. To practice non-judgment, unconditionally loving yourself, the good and the bad (while trying to improve the bad). To dissolve your ego and strive for a permanent state of Love, or, “enlightenment”.
"Real Love is to love them that hate you." Gandhi
I commit to the lifelong attempt to experience and provide Love in all I do.
I commit to the attempt to become a fountain of Love: a walking, talking, breathing, fountain of Love.
I commit to doing this proactively, deliberately, and consciously, not accidentally and randomly when good stuff happens to me.
I commit to put Love into everything I do.
